Ways to earn on AnimalDex
AnimalDex has two separate economies. Credits power the collection. Earnings is the real-money ledger. They never mix.
AnimalDex Credits are not cash. They cannot be withdrawn or converted into Earnings.
Score, Capture XP, Grade, Gifts, Packs, PvP stakes, and Credit Offers stay inside Credits. None of them become a bank transfer.
Real-money Earnings
Fiat recorded on the Earnings tab. Only these product areas may ever post money.
- Wildlife GuidesCOMING SOONVirtual guides AnimalDex builds from your wild sightings, one per place. Buyers pay a small real-money fee; your share is released to Earnings 8 days after the purchase.
- Creator RewardsCURRENTLY PAUSEDA company-funded pool for eligible live wildlife contribution during open reward periods. Not currently paying.
- Sponsored Challenge cashPLANNEDDeterministic cash grants may come later. Joining and achievement rewards are already live. Cash is not marketed as live.
Credits
Virtual currency you spend in the app. Useful. Not withdrawable.
- Starter grant: 10 Credits
- Missions: 2–40 Credits
- Referrals: +5 / +3 after a friend’s first qualifying capture
- First wild species: +1 Credit each
- Sealed Packs: Credits after a 10% platform fee
- PvP / Arena stakes: Credits, never cash
- Credit Offers: user-to-user Credit escrow
- Gifts: sender spends Credits; the recipient gets Capture XP, not cash
How Wildlife Guides earn
A Wildlife Guide is virtual: advice from someone who has been there, not a tour. Buyers get your notes on every animal, a chat with you, and introductions to local people you met.
- 1Log wild animalsCapture wild animals with location on. Each place where you find 3 or more species, with a public photo, becomes a guide automatically.
- 2Check your guideAnimalDex writes the page from your sightings. Check the draft note for each animal, add your tips and the local people you met.
- 3Set your priceKeep the automatic price or choose your own. It is a small real-money fee for your notes and answers; Credits are not used.
- 4Answer buyersWhen someone buys your guide, reply to them within 48 hours. Buyers can ask for a refund within 7 days.
- 5Get paidYour share of each sale is released to Earnings 8 days after the purchase, in real money.

Common questions
- Can I cash out AnimalDex Credits?
- No. Credits are a closed virtual currency for scans, unlocks, Packs, and in-app actions. They cannot be withdrawn or converted into Earnings.
- What can actually become real money?
- Virtual Wildlife Guides: when someone buys a guide AnimalDex built from your wild sightings, your share is released to Earnings 8 days after the purchase. Buying guides is coming soon. Creator Rewards and Sponsored Challenge cash are not currently paying.
- Do I need payouts set up to start?
- No. You can build a collection, check the Wildlife Guides made from your sightings, and join Sponsored Challenges without a payout method. Payouts are reviewed when Earnings become Available — they are not instant.
