A cheetah and wolf hybrid would be a fictional cursorial predator with a cheetah's sprint mechanics and a wolf's pack coordination.
Could this hybrid really exist?
This is speculative. Cheetahs and wolves are both mammals but too genetically distant for a real hybrid.
How it might look
The Pack Sprint Cheetah would have long cheetah legs, a wolf-like chest and muzzle, spotted shoulders that fade into a gray saddle, and a heavy balancing tail for coordinated turns.
How it might behave
It would not waste maximum speed alone. The pack would rotate pursuit roles until one hybrid uses cheetah acceleration to close the final gap.
