How Spoink compares to the real Pig
Spoink's official category is the Bounce Pokémon. AnimalDex rates its resemblance to the Pig as a reasonable match, meaning the animal is clear but the design mixes in other traits. Spoink is a pig that bounces on its spring-like tail to keep its heart beating. Its snout and round body are those of a pig, which is the closest real animal.
The comparison covers looks and behavior cues, not biology: Spoink is a fictional Pokémon, while the Pig (Sus scrofa domesticus) is a real mammal.
Official category: Bounce Pokemon. This page is an AnimalDex comparison for real-animal resemblance, not an official design-origin claim.
